Day 8 - Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Puntarenas is on a long and thin peninsula in a large bay that has fine black sand. We walked around the town for awhile (the ship docked right in town). They have relatively high tides so the very wide beach of the morning was much narrower by the afternoon. (Click on a picture to see it larger. Opens in a new folder.)
