Our fourth stop on this cruise was in Mykonos, Greece. We took a ferry from the ship
to the old town and walked around a bit. We had arranged tickets for a ferry ride and
when it was time we took the ferry over to Delos, the site of the center of Athenian
power, including the Delian League and the Delphic Oracle. The island was a major
community for centuries and is now a huge archeological site, with some ruins from
as early as the 6th century BCE.
