Pictures from Our Caribbean Cruises, January 2022

This cruise actually consisted of two cruises. We left from Baltimore on New Years Eve, December 31, 2021 and continued until January 20, 2022. The first cruise was 8 nights and we returned to Baltimore on the morning of January 8, 2022. We stayed on board the ship (except for a very brief customs) and then the second cruise started that afternoon. The second back-to-back cruise was 12 nights and we returned again to Baltimore on January 20, 2022.

We had originally booked the cruises in the Spring of 2021 thinking that all the covid stuff would be long gone by then. Well, it wasn't, and for these cruises we had to be vaccinated and show a negative covid test 2 days before embarking. We did the first at home over the internet and the second on board the cruise ship. Again, the cruises were way short of full capacity and we had to wear masks in most public areas on the ship (except in the dining rooms) and the various ports also required us to wear masks.
