Today in Stockholm was not the best weather - it was dark and gray, it was cold and we got some
pretty steady rain, even heavy at times. But we did have a few breaks and we managed. We had purchased tickets
back in the US for the hop-on-hop-off boat and we caught it near the ship and took it to the old town where
we walked around some on small narrow streets. We saw a number of sites including the Royal Palace where
we just happened to see the changing of the guard. We visited the Nobel Museum (they had a large exhibit
honoring Martin Luther King, illustrating the sorry state of race relations in the US over the last 100 years) and
Stockholm Cathedral. We crossed to another island where we saw the Parliament Building and then crossed over to
the mainland were we walked some and saw a variety of things including the Opera House. We had gotten a bit
wet and caught our HOHO boat and took it back to the ship.
