The ship docked in front of the Akershus Fortress. We purchased an Oslo City Card at the ferry terminal and then
took the ferry back and forth to Bygdoy island to visit the Viking Museum
and the Kon Tiki Museum. We then took a city tram back and forth to visit Vigeland Park, huge and full of
incredible sculptures. Then from the city center we walked a lot and visited other sites such as the Royal Palace
(where we just happened to see a changing of the guard), Oslo University, City Hall and others. There was a light
rain all day, but the temperature was good.
